Andreea Ioana Moldovan (born 28 September, 1989) is a Romanian singer, best known as Ami.

Childhood and personal life[]

Ami was born in Baia Mare, Romania. Ami's passion for music began at the age of three years, while she participated in a music contest, where she won. At the end of the 11th grade, she moved to Bucharest , where she finished her high school. After that, she started studying at the National University of Music in Bucharest. In 2011, she participated in the first season of the X-Factor Romania.

Career[]

In 2011 she started a project together with David Deejay. In 2012, Ami released her first disc single "Trumpe Lights" in collaboration with Glance.

In 2013, she collaborated with Grasu XXL were they produced "Déjà vu". The song reached 1st place in Airplay 100 at Kiss FM Romania.

At Own Eurovision Song Contest[]

Together with Grasu XXL they won the National Selection for the Own Eurovision Song Contest 26, contest held in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Their song "Déjà vu" was draw to perform in the first semi-final on the 14th position.
