Măruță Alexandra Irina (born Mihai, 23 august 1986 Câmpia Turzii, România) better known by her stage name, Andra is a Romanian pop and R&B singer.

Her musical career started when she was 7 years, having her first performance on a musical show called "Tip Top Minitop", singing Whitney Houston's song "I will always love you". At age 11, she participated in a folk competition called "Toamna Arișeană" where she won first place.

Andra is married with Catalin Maruta and on March 16, 2011 they became parents, when David was born.

Andra was chosen to be the representetive of Romania for two editions, in OESC #03 and OESC #11, where she ended in top 10, receiving 9th place in both occasions, with her songs "What about us" and "Something new".
