Ramona Sora,also known as Mona, (born July 8, 1986) is a pop-dance singer from Romania. Ramona was born in Pucioasa, Dambovita from Romania.


Career[]

In 2006 the band Wassabi was formed, under the direction of Marius Moga. Wassabi debuted with "Have some fun with Radio 21" the Anthem Radio 21 of that year. The girls in the band have released several tracks in 2007, hoping to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest. Eventhough their songs were voted, they were unable to fulfill their dream.

Wassabi fell apart and Mona started her solo career. In summer of 2011 Mona released the song "Sweet love", a colaboration with Liviu Hodor.

Ramona (Mona) is a talented artist, not only in music, but also in painting (at the age 17 she won 1st place in national and international competition Europe at school-Strasbourg . Mona is also a fashion designer, obtaining a diploma from the School of Art and Style, Bucharest.

Own Eurovision Song Contest[]

Liviu Hodor and Mona were chosen to represent Romania in the contest Own Eurovision Song Contest 17 with their song "Sweet love". At the end of the show the song placed 1st with 191 points.
