Romania will participate and host the Own Eurovision Song Contest 18 in Bucharest after winning the Own Eurovision Song Contest 17 with the song "Sweet love" performed by Liviu Hodor and Mona. The Romanian entry was selected through an internal selection. Elena Gheorghe and Glance will represent Romania with the song "Ecou".

On 27 March 2013, it was announced that Elena and Glance will represent Romania in the 18th edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest, Romania with the song "Ecou".
At Own Eurovision Song Contest[]
Romania, as last edition's winner, will host: therefore automatically qualifies to the final, held in April, 2013.
Romania was draw to perform number 17 in the Grand Final. At the end of the voting, Romania placed ninth receiving 140 points.
