Romania will participate in the Own Eurovision Song Contest 20. The Romanian entry will be selected through Selecția Națională 20.

Two previous songs who participated in Eurovision Song Contest were selected to participate in Selecția Națională."Zaleilah" represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 , where it received 12th place with 71 points and "Playing with fire" represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 where it ended in 3rd place receiving 162 points overall.

The winner was Mandinga with their song "Zaleilah".

The winners

The Final started on May 2 , 2013. The winner with most votes will be declared the representetive of Romania in the Own Eurovision Song Contest 20, which will be the fourth special edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest. The show was presented by Andra.

The winner was announced on May 4, 2013 and it was Mandinga, their song "Zaleilah" scored 252 points, overall. "Playing with fire" was then chosen to represent Faroe Islands in the same edition as "Zaleilah".

At Own Eurovision Song Contest[edit | edit source]

As the winner of the Own Eurovision Song Contest 19 and host of the OESC #20 Contest, Romania automatically qualified for a place in the final. In addition to their participation in the final, Romania was assigned to vote in the semi-finals.

At the end of the voting , Romania place 16th out of 30th songs, receiving 98 points.
