Romania will participate in the Own Eurovision Song Contest 47. The Romanian entry will be selected through an internal selection.
Sore will represent Romania with her single "Un minut".
Format[]
The runner-up of the 46th national selection was selected to represent Romania in the Own Eurovision Song Contest 47. Sore will represent Romania in the 47th edition held in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
At Own Eurovision Song Contest[]
Romania will participate in one of the two semi-finals.
On March 28, 2017 it was revealed that Romania will perform in the second half of the second semifinal.
It was later revealed that Romania will perform in the 14th position of the second semifinal.
On April 29, 2017 Romania was announced as a qualifier of the grand final.
On May 2, 2017 Romania was draw to perform 12th in the grand final.
On May 24, 2017 it was revealed that Romania placed 9th in the Grand Final receiving a total amount of 115 points. Afterwards it was revealed also that Romania placed 7th in the second semifinal receiving 74 points.
