Romania will participate in the Own Eurovision Song Contest 6 and will select their entry through an internal selection.
Alexandra Stan will represent Romania in Own Eurovision Song Contest 6 with her song "Get back (ASAP)". The contest will take place in Valletta, Malta.

On June 20, 2012, it was announced that Alexandra Stan will represent Romania in the sixth edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest in Valletta, Malta with her song "Get back (ASAP)".
At Own Eurovision Song Contest[]
On June 24, 2012 it was decided that Romania will compete in the second Semi-Final and it was draw to perform on the 8th spot.
On June 26, 2012 it was announced that Romania qualified for the Grand Final and it was draw to perform on the 23rd spot.
On June 30, 2012 it was announced that Romania placed 7th, receiving 128 points. Back in the semi-final, Alexandra Stan's "Get back (ASAP)" placed 4th, receiving 119 points.
