The Script is an Irish alternative rock band from Dublin. They have had several hits topping the charts all around the world, the best known are "The Man Who Can't Be Moved", "Breakeven", "Nothing" and "Hall of Fame".

The group consists of three group members, Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power.

Biography Edit

Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan met in a club in The Liberties area of Dublin, the were drawn to each other through a shared liking of music, mostly they're love to R & B music (Rhythm & Blues).

Danny and Mark started making demos for other artists, but when they met the drummer, Glen Power, the objective changed. The pair had never heard him playing, but they made a connection that motivated Sheehan to invite Glen on a working holiday to Los Angeles. In one week, the trio produced three songs.

The band's influences include a diverse group of artists that include U2, Coldplay, The Police, The Neptunes, Timbaland, and Van Morrison.

On 18 October 2012 it was announced that Ireland would return to the 13th edition of Own Eurovision Song Contest represented by The Script and their hit single "Hall of Fame" featured by the American rapper
